Anonymous asked: I will be majoring in Psychology in the Fall, and I was wondering if there is any way to prepare in the summer? And that if I am to pursue clinical psychology, whether improving my horrid chemistry is essential?
Thanks! :]
Congrats! :)
Also, I would just enjoy your time off! You never know once you start college if you’ll have time off again, so just enjoy it while it lasts! There’s not really much you can do to “prepare” anyway, unless you want to see if your university has a research page and maybe familiarize yourself with different researchers whose labs you might want to work in. You probably won’t get an assistant position until your sophomore year (I would recommend taking research methods and stats your first year!).
And chemistry is definitely NOT essential for clinical :D
