Anonymous asked: Hello, I saw that last ask you received about the fields of psychology.. So, do you know anything about how competitive or tough Criminal Psychology would be, if Clinical is most competitive?

I really don’t know anything about Criminal Psychology, but I do know a bit about Forensic Psychology. I’m not really sure what the difference is, if there’s a difference.

Mostly what I know about it Clinical Forensic, which the APA does not accredit right now, although you can do a program in clinical with a track in forensic, and those programs are accredited (although it’s basically just adding a handful of forensic classes vs. all classes having something to do with forensic, so it’s really quite different).

Basically, my advice to all of you who want to go into graduate school in ANY field of psych: do research in your intended area. That is what will increase your chances.
