the-id asked: About the minors: I was actually advised when I was looking at minors to take something other than another social science. A major in psychology shows that you know how to do social science. It would make you look more useful to employers or grad programs to have a minor that's a bit further away, but still useful: I was told biology, math, or computers were helpful.

nittygrittydirtylittlefreaks asked: Regarding the person who asked about minors that go along with psychology: I definitely agree that it all depends on what he/she wants to do, but I also want to add that almost any minor can work. The beauty of psychology is that it can work in almost everything in life. I was a psych major with an education minor because I want to go into educational counseling.
I think any psych major...

Just because some christians decide not to go to a doctor because they believe God will heal them...

I'm only 15, so of course, I haven't even gotten the chance to take psychology at my school. I'm going into my sophomore year and it's offered to only juniors and up. But, I read into psychology a lot on my own. I have my own DSM and I go through it and research...
